****** MONEY OUT OF MY BANK ACCOUNT

On 3 November 2021 at 17h00 a lady from Capitec Bank called me on my phone to warn me somebody is busy *****ing money out of my account. She said she is an employee of Capitec Bank. She told me to open the Capitec cell phone banking app to stop it. She told me step by step what to do. I received an OTP pin number which I must give to her to stop the transaction. The next minute I receive an sms saying that R95 000 was paid from my account by Martina Koen (my previous surname before I got maried in 2014) which was very suspecious. They used my old Vodacom cell number as reference ***. I changed everything to Ebersohn after my marriage in 2014. I immediately called the call centre to stop the transaction. I went to the Police station for an affidavit which I sent to Capitec ***** department. My first enquiry with them, I was informed that the funds went into a African Bank account and was immediately withdrawn. NO ATM machine will allow a person to withdraw cash of R95 000 at an ATM that time of afternoon. As far as I concern African Bank must know the account holder details to trace the transaction. Every time when I call Capitec Bank they keep on saying its still under investigation. I then lodge a complaint with the FAIS Onbudsman. They notified me that they send it through to the Bank Onbudsman with reference 11481-21/22 GP 8. They quoted on the letter that I will receive feedback within 1 month. Until today I did not receive any further feedback from either Capitec Bank, FAIS Onbud or Onbudsman for Banking Services.
