Snail or tortoise movement on a ********** transaction
on the 3rd of April 2022, i reported a ********** transaction to Capitec from a company called Amazon Web-services. I was advised that It will take 7 to 14 days to have the matter resolved. Each time I call to make a follow-up on the ticket, I get contradicting turn around times. Today I called in to find out the status of my ticket, I WAS TOLD IT COULD TAKE 40 DAYS to get some kind of feedback! I dont think it bothers those investigating that somehow customers are starting to doubt the capabilities of a big institution such as themselves. Surely it cannot take that long to investigate a transaction particularly moments shortly after it was reported

04 May 2022, 14:29someone called, the phone rang literally 3 times, they hanged up. Sent me a message stating " hi we have been trying to get a hold of you several times, please call us on 0860******* with REF*********. I call the number as instructed, get through to a lady by the name of Gugu, she tells me someone from your cash dispute department was trying to call. She cant transfer me to that particular department, she can only leave a note and "hope" that they'll call back. I must say, it scares me, going through the complains on Hellopeter about the amount of ***** that's happening with CAPITEC BANK and the inability to resolve this extremely serious cases...really does worry me a lot. In a month' time I'll be receiving my dividends-without a doubt, I will not have that money in CAPITEC. One thing I need to make clear is, I have not authorized the amount that was debited off my account and I will fight to the bitter end to get it back.
