Slow service from consultants to unblock my account.

On the 19th of December I received R2300 from Thabiso Nkosi for items I was selling online. We have an issue with the delivery due to the festive rush and without understanding she went to Capitec and was told she must return with a case number. She did not as the issue was resolved but my account is on hold. Since the 2nd of Jan we’ve been going back and forth ay Cresta Branch and Durban West street branch submitting affidavits and ID copies only to be told they have not received the documents. I’ve been to the Durban branch more than 5 times and I was told they have attached the documents and will follow up. It’s the 18th todah and we resubmitted the ID copies and Affidavits separately at our respective branches but still nothing. And what Capitec has done is to block my FNB account also because I usually transfer my funds to FNB as I lost my Capitec card. I need my accounts opened as I need to get my salary and get back to my part time work of selling. No case was opened , and there’s no incident number. Just a constant back and forth between me and the client.

My account has been opened! Thank you so much to the client care dept I called on Thursday. They contacted forensics for me and my issue has been resolved. I’m now awaiting them to contact FNB to unblock my FNB account also! Well done Capitec! Good work. I was honestly scared that they won’t open my account from all the reviews. But it was and it took 20 days but what matters is that it’s opened.
