I used my Capitec bank card at an FNB ATM (Vangate Mall) to withdraw money. When i tried to draw the money the ATM never requested a pin number , instead it swallowed my card and seconds later money was with drawed and purchases was made from my account to the value of R3500. I called in to cancel my card that same day. Next day I went into the Vangate mall branch (Capitec) to report incident. I was told to wait for an sms. Later i received an sms stating my claim was denied for unauthorized transactions and no reason as to why my claim was denied was given.
