Salary switch mess

At the beginning of February I decided to switch my banking to Capitec. They then have your debit orders switched to your Capitec account. Only 2 of my 6 debit orders were switched. The biggest one Not switched - my Capitec loan!

As per usual my previous bank deducted the loan amount, but this time from an unfunded account. I have never missed a single payment on this loan.

When that debit order was returned, Capitec immediately deducted from my Capitec account, which is fair. However, my previous bank then tried to deduct this loan amount Again, this time the returned debit order carried a penalty of R150.

I emailed ********** more than 3 days ago and still no response.

By right Capitec should be liable for that returned fee as well as the repair of any damage to my credit record.

Very disappointing

Best regards,
Capitec complaints management stepped in after this review and the R150 penalty incurred was reimbursed to myself.
This was done very efficiently and was the kind of service I have come to expect from Capitec.
Thank you and well done Capitec.
