Salary not safe with Capitec

On the 31 August R1877.11 was debited on my Capitec Account , On a Debi Check I did not approved. I phoned the Contact center and they advised that I should go to the branch as amounts over R800 cannot be reversed over the phone, When I went to the bank they told me I am unable to reverse a Debi Check. I only started working Last month and my salary goes into Capitec. Does that mean my income is unsafe as Capitec allows unauthorized Debichecks to be approved? Why is the safety of my money compromised? Please respond before i escalate this to the banking Ombudsman. I want my money reversed or I will never trust Capitec with my salary.
