Rudeness and Violence

I logged a complaint over 3 weeks ago in regards to the rude news and violent members of Capitec Bank in JHB CBD. I was called and was told that they were still investigating.

I am still awaiting response till now. Does Capitec deal with complaints so poorly and take over 3 weeks to respond and communicate to a customer?

This is the story below. We were standing at a Capitec Bank atm in JHB town just opposite the magistrates high court. A lady was standing there an informing us that we will be turned back as the branch closes at 13h00pm.

I told the lady that they need to have a sign that shows that they have cut the que and they have closed down. She then said they will have this next time however the branch is now closed and we should use other ATMs. I asked her if a branch is closed they should wait for people who are in the branch nor at the atm once the line has been cut.

A lady by the name of Puleng came outside and told a gentle man called Sthembiso to close the garage door, regardless of what we were saying. I then stood next to the garage door and Sthembiso threatened to close it with my head there and if I got hurt he didn't care.

Sthembiso kept rolling down the garage door whilst it kept on hurting my head and he didn't care.

Puleng came back from calling security and starting shooting and pointing at us. She even hit my husband on the back.

What kind of customer service is this. Puleng as the branch manager didn't care what was happening as she kept on screaming and shouting with full capitec uniform.

She literally said nothing would happen to her we must all move.

1. My husband was hit by Puleng

2. I was hurt on my head by Sthembiso

Both these people are employees and were wearing full uniform.

What happened to customer service, what happened to the integrity and ethics? Is this how capitec employees are trained to treat customers?

Capitec really needs to take this seriously. I will expect an apology from both of them otherwise both me and my husband are opening a case of assault against them.
