hellopeter. i would like to report the incident that happened on saturday the 24th of this month around 2 pm. i was in pietermaritzburg church street capitec atm when i put the card on atm typed in the pin then immediately a stranger came and distruct me claiming that he left a slip. within a sec he cancelled my card and took it and ran away. i foned capitec and they delayed by asking me security questions of which one of them i failed cos i was under panic. by that time the phone was reportning transaction from absa bank. they made 2 transactions. ti to cut the story short i went to report the incident at capitec on monday and to my surprise the lady who was attending mw just said unfortunately these things happen here every weekend. i was so shocked that Capitec bank does not have security for their clients. no stop cards; no cctv cameras on their atmz no nothing. i felt a need of telling you guys maybe we can let others be aware of such things. thank you
