****** by Capitec Bank

I feel ****** by Capitec Bank through a useless Consultant by the name of Nikhil. I reported a kidnapping incident which occurred in Jhb on 29 June 2022. The SAPS case number is: CAS31/7/2022 and the bank reference number is : ***5.

I was kidnapped and the perpetrators transferred R5000 from my FNB account number to Capitec account. Then the money was transferred to the perpetrators account. All I wanted was Capitec to investigate and refund me. Nikhil from Capitec Westville asked for an affidavit because my capitec account was blocked. I gave him the affidavit and he said he has sent it to their ***** unit to investigate.

I am now at the same Capitec branch following up on the case and Nikhil is telling me that the affidavit that I gave him is wrong and therefore I am not going to get any money. This is because it's been 3 months since the incident occurred. All I need to do is to call SAPS and find out about the case.

I am really mad and unhappy about the insensitive way he handled my case.
