Ridiculous credit flag

I just had the weirdest, most ridiculous thing happen to me.

I want to move across from Nedbank to Capitec. With this I want to consolidate what I have with Nedbank into one personal loan, along with a transactional account.

I just got told that my credit application will be cancelled since my company has been flagged for a high risk of *****ulent pay slips. I now have to go into a branch and redo the whole process so they can manually lift the flag. In all my years of applying for credit this is the first time ever that something like this was raised.

I rely on others for transport and this now means I'll have to ask someone to take me, spend who knows how many hours at the bank since this flag prevents me from doing this online.

Also let me add that I was only assisted weeks after first communicating with Capitec via email.

I am flabbergasted and don't even know what to think or say about this whole thing.

I now don't even know if I want to do this anymore.
