Ridiculous bank charges
I am a pensioner. My pension goes into my Capitec acc. If i withdraw R100 from a Capitec ATM, the fee is R9.50. I equired at the Chatsworth branch. They said thats their rates. R9.50 of any withdrawal of amounts from R10 - R1000. So, this bank is NOT for us poorer people that does small withdrawals.

19 Oct 2023, 10:15Thank you. I appreciate your prompt response. I have been banking with mist of the bigger banks. I was very impressed with Capitec based on feedback from friends. I opened the account just for my pension But have started running some of my other transactions through the account.
You must understand that a lot of people changed to Capitec due to low charges but thats not true Anymore. Most people are not aware of this way of charging fees for widrawal.
