REVERSAL OF WRONG ACCOUNT DEPOSIT VIA EFT

A friend of mine bought a model train set from me and he paid via EFT. I send him my Capitec Bank number and he made the payment from his Capitec account, after a day I checked my account to see if the transfer was done, no money? I checked the transfer certificate from Capitec that he send me and noticed that I made a mistake on the account number I provided. I immediately contacted him telling my story. He went to the bank and they told him that the account holder of the wrong account must first give the permission to reverse this wrong deposit, but he does not answer his phone, no I have to raise a case at the SAPD to be able to take the case to small claims court to get a gujment to retrieve the funds deposited in the wrong account, I feel all evidence is at hand to recover the money to my account. I can not believe that Capitec Bank has no procedures to recover the money like all the other larger banks, in their case the money is retrieved instantly. Please Capitec I had no problems for 8 years help me on this one please????
