Retrenched with an outstanding loan

I took out a loan in beginning 2014 with capitec and never missed a payment nor had my account in arrears. In March 2015 i took out another small loan which Capitec merged with the first loan. At the end of July after 5years with the company i was retrenched. The company closed it's doors and i did not have provident funds ect. Capitec told me i have a retrenchment cover policy when i took out the loans. For the past month's they keep phoning asking for payments and state my loan not covered by retrenchment policy, cause the loan not older than 3 months. But according to my contract date's it's older. I have been sending my cv out all over and still no work. I'm not complaining about Capitec as they will always be my first choice in banking. I'm just disappointed by their lack of help and the way they are handling my retrenchment policy. They keep asking if a family member or so can't help me pay them? I don't have anyone besides a little girl who sees her mom cry every day.
