REMOVING OF HANDOVER STATUS

In 2019 I found out I was handed over to MBD Attorneys by Capitec Bank for a loan that was taken out in 2008 whereby I was never informed and no knowledge about it, When the agent at the branch gave me the information to find out about the handover of my account, I got the information from MBD Attorneys that this loan was prescribed in 2013, I contacted Transunion and Experian and there is no notification on my profile of any Capitec loan nor that I was handed over to MBD Attorneys. I got the letter from MBD Attorneys stating that I do not owe anything but Capitec consultant Zulaikha Khan declined the removal of the handover status on my bank account at Capitec. How can I be held liable for something that I had no knowledge about and for the fact that I got all the information that this must be removed from my account. My question is I opened my account at Capitec in 2006 and still using the same account to date why could I not be traced, we have to update your FICA as per the correspondence from all the Banks."According to FICA, banks must regularly test and make sure they have the right client information. All Capitec Bank clients undergo a FICA identification process. However, you may get requests from us to update your identity and address details from time to time." Why must my faith be in a consultants hand that did not even bothered to consult with me or look at the history.
