I downloaded the Capitec Application before and I was able to use it before the update on the 01 Aug 2015. I have a tablet and use it as my phone (i.e.receive and make calls etc). Yesterday I tried to do my Online banking only to find that I was suppose to upgrade. I then went to the play store and apparently the new application is not supported by my phone. I went inside the branch at Edenvale and I was told that I have to get a token in order to access my online banking. A token which costs ME R70.00. What I dont understand is:
1. I had the capitec applicaiton and was able to do my Online banking before the upgrade
2. Why do I need to pay for a token whilst I had the application in the first place
3. Why would Capitec upgrade services and exclude other phones which was able to download the previous versions with no problem?
4.Does this mean I have to get a new phone to access the application? Where do I get money for a new phone?
5. Does this mean I have to change banks?

I am really dissapointed and would appreciate the above matter to be considered and taken into consideration when it comes to treating the customer fair (TCF)
