REFUSING TO ISSUE PAID UP LETTER ON A paid up LOAN

THIS is POOR POOR POOR SERVICE

This bank is been paid every month by debt councillor, December was suppose to be my last instalment which was debited.

On the 15th December 2016 when I requested a paid up letter, I was told it I owe R40,70 and requested to pay the amount to the suspend account ( ********** 186) so that I can get my paid up letter. I got to the branch, the account cannot be deposited or transfer funds. I then requested them to debit my account (the head office).

To my surprise they took 3 days before debiting the amount and I was told it will take 7days before I can get paid up letter.

On the 16th of January 2017 they tell me I owe R2, 16. For interest acquired. It is not my fault you they did not debit me in time and that the process is dominated by manual process. Why should I pay this money if you took foraver to debit me? Whose fault is it?

On the other hand to settle this amount will take me another 31 days as capitect take 10 working days to debit a R40, 70. To pay R2, 16 will take another 31 days and the fault was not mine.

Poor service ...
