Refuse to open an account

My Dad walked into the bank and wanted to open an and he had a valid gauteng proof of residence for his home in Gauteng and the consultant told him he cannot open an account in Mpumalanga using the Gauteng residence. he then told my dad to go to Gauteng and open an account there, my dad had to travel from Mpumalanga just to open an account and he was very disturbed about the treatment he received from the bank. He couldnt even ask a question cause when he tried to do so he was thrown with the pamplets and was told to read them instead.
