Refuse to accept

Hi,

Yes my complaint was dealt with but not resolved and only to favour Capitec.

I herewith state again!l!

In Dec I went to your branch to take a addition amount to my current loan or what I thought was a top up which my payments always include insurance incase of retrencement.

Unfortunately in March I got retrenched and as per the credit agreement there is a waiting period of three months. I am prepared to pay the top up amount due to me being retrenched a few days short of three months, however the amount I owed Capitec before my Dec top up was always coved and they eagerly deducted the premium every month. So I have been paying for insurance for over a year but now because I topped my loan they refuse to cover it.

My discussion with your department today left me no choice but to refer this to the ombudsman. Why did I pay insurance for months is this is how Capitec deals with its client's needs or when they need to claim for something they paid for.

Your complaints department advised me to go to the branch or contact the accounts to make payment arrangements....... Really? How do you arrange to pay something when u unemployed and during Covid 19.

I refuse to accept the response I received from Capitec today.

Awaiting your response.
