Refusal to submit statements to a customer

Visited Capitec Bank Bell Air branch this morning in the aim to close my bank account and credit card which I settled. Upon discussions the consultant (Moleboge) advised that she would need to contact the call centre to double check the timeline it takes to close which she advised was 14 days. The call centre agent (Malibongwe) also checked if I had owed anything more and advised that I still owed a further R356.64 interest. I requested a detailed statement which would reflect a history to this amount outstanding to which I can then settle this amount. To my surprise, the agent advised that Capitec cannot provide me with a statement reflecting how I owe this interest and would be able to send me a screenshot of what he sees on his system. I am unclear on how a bank which is rated number 1 in customer service cannot be transparent to show customers detailed statements. After paying a total of 39k to settle my card, I am definitely willing to pay another 365 rand however the principle of transparency needs to be app**** to show customers their statements. Which bank refuses to give customers statements? Can the Head of Customer Experience please explain to me how agents are s****ed and sort out my query?
