Refusal of temporary documents for updating details

I am 9 months pregnant. I have to change my surname at Capitec Bank to be able to claim UIF. However they would not accept my ID on my ****en name with my marriage certificate. I did go to the deparment of Home Affairs to then apply for a new ID and paid to get a Temporary ID to be able to update my details, just to be informed on my second trip to the bank that they do not accept temporary documents even if they are government issued. What am I supposed to do now? I will not be able to get my UIF because Capitec wont update my surname. I have to wait two to three weeks for my new ID, and by then my baby will be born, my rent is late because we started the process two weeks ago already and so far no success anywhere. Since when can they refuse to use government issued documents?
