Reducing access credit with no rason
The bank sent me a sms reducing my access facility without a reason when I want to query this on their what's app page the system ask you numerous questions and do not assist with a human speaking to you. Prime video is devotingy account and I do nat have a account with PRIME Video. The bank advise as it's not a debit order I need to make sure the subscription is canceled which I did and it show with all my credentials that I do not have a prime account the bank the said I should put my limit on 0 so the money won't go off which I did. I still received sms how they are trying to debit my account as it fails now the bank credit score reduce my credit wrongly.

26 Feb 2026, 19:45Thank you for explaining everything, I can hear how frustrating this situation has been for you, and I’m really sorry you’re dealing with all of this at once. Let me help you step by step.
1. About your access facility being reduced
The bank may adjust access credit based on updated affordability or credit profile information, but you should always be able to query it. I’m sorry that WhatsApp made it difficult to reach a human, that definitely shouldn’t add to your frustration.
2. About the Prime Video deductions
You’re absolutely right to question charges for a service you don’t have.
Since it is not a debit order, it means the deductions are happening as:
• a card transaction, or
• a subscription linked to your card details.
Setting your online card limit to 0 was the correct step, and I’m glad you did it.
The “failed debit” SMSs are normal, they will appear until the merchant stops trying.
If Prime confirms you do not have an account, then the issue may be ***** or your card details being used ********ly.
3. Regarding your credit score being affected
Failed card deductions do not lower your credit score. Credit scores only change due to:
• missed credit repayments
• defaulted accounts
• arrears
• changes in affordability
So your score should not drop because of a failed Prime Video charge. If it did drop, it may be from something else unrelated.
