Reckless and none compliant to the popi act

I'm deeply disturbed at this point and don't even know where to start...

I got money paid in my account thinking it was my salary. Capitec called me and told me that someone paid money in my account and Standard bank wants contact me with regards to this. The consultant ask me if she could my number to Standard bank to contact me... I got a call shortly after and the person who paid the money in the wrong account was fuming with regards to the R2095 and wanted to know why I used her money. I did explain that I thought it was my salary. She requested the money back and I told her I will speak to my own bank as I don't know her. The next week Capitec called me again and this time I had a mouth full I told the consultant that I don't want to give my details to Standard Bank as somewhere someone gave my number to the client and I'm protected by the popi act so I don't want to deal with anyone than Capitec. I told the consult I will give the money back but because I do promotions I don't have a fixed amount every month. I told the consultant that all calls are recorded so if anything should back fire I have dates and times including reference number.... Yesterday I got a message from another person this time on Facebook saying that the company she works for is going to take legal action against me and I will have a ******** record. Also I ghosted them and didn't make contact with the company. I didn't know who the company was untill yesterday. My complaint is that how can Capitec Bank and Standard bank be so reckless with regards to personal information.
