Random ********** payments

I have had to make contact with Avast Anti Virus Directly - Expressed my concern that they were able to take funds from my account without me interacting with them at all demanding they advise who has authorized their company to just take the funds - in the same breath explained that I have no other choice and would expose their operation on sites like Hello Peter which I have done. My suggestion is that Capitec Bank look into their banking system and develop an early detection system to prevent or remedy situations like these before its too late i.e. enough control to cancel or reverse the transaction from the app etc. I would imagine less clients would fall victim to ***** if we had this sort of control of our own funds or accounts. When I was contacted by Capitec Bank - their questions seemed to be directed to me myself being negligent by using Avast's online system before for my purchase. Generally shopping in stores or online requires some sort of interaction from the client having to physically go there and make a purchase or select options for the item your buying online. This does not mean that we will automatically purchase groceries in-store again in a years time. The money was refunded from Avast Anti Virus today. So thank you for the effort anyway.
