R38 000 refund from Standard Bank via Capitec

I paid R38 000 into this STD Bank acc no ***0 on 2 march 2026 by mistake while trying to pay School Fees into St Columba's school account. This number is Lakeside Mall Branch code and not the school account number. But it turned out to be someone's account number who banks with Standard Bank. I requestedd a recall upon realising this and was given a ref no ***. Today i got an sms that it was unsuccessful and to visit thebranch. Branvh tells me there were insufficient funds and client does not give consent to share contact details and that I must go to Small Claims Court of which the amount exceeds the R20 000 set out in Small Claims court. As the Client in Capitec im buffled that that is all they can assist with in this matter.
