PROOF OF ADDRESS

I went into Capitec Nortmead Square, Benoni in the morning on 31/01/2018. I was armed with my Tribal Authority proof of address which the consultant told me it was not allowed. She required my Benoni temporary residence address, I even wonder if she said that because she knows me personally and know where I am temporarily accommodated.

I was so irritated that I went back to work and continued doing what I am actually paid for! Later in the day I called Capitec customer care where they told me if I am using a Tribal Authority proof of address, I must also produce proof of residence. What does my ruralness have to do with my employment? Are we Rural residents not good enough for you, or can't afford to manage a savings account?
