POPI ACT COMPLAINER
Good day,
I trust you are well.
Kindly please assist, day before yesterday a gentleman and a lady and police officer who was not wearing police uniform came to my house stating that they sent my dad money R15000 and they wanted to confirm if he did received the money, my dad told them that he didn’t receive anything then he showed them the account.. we asked the lady and gentleman where they got our address they said Capitec provided them with everything
After 5 minutes they asked if the was a boy child at home mom said yes it’s Junior then the lady said he might have been the one who received the money..mom told them that Junior doesn’t use capitec but fnb then they left Today they came back saying that they sent the money to Junior then gave us his ID number and when his account was opened because he opened it recently in January..now they are threatening to kill us all saying that we did receive the money
How can capitec put our lives in danger like this, if we received any payment why couldn’t a consultant call us and verify us so that we know we are speaking to capitec
Not people come to our home to threatening us about money that we don’t know…we gonna have to sue the bank for this…at the bottom I will give you the names of everybody please investigate
Lady is Tshepiso rabotho *** Policeman is D/SGT Malatji ***
Please come back to me as soon as possible
