Poor services from Capitec

Very disappointed, and willing to do anything to fight Capitec. My wife opened funeral policy on the 27th of June 2020 and agreed with them that the first debit will be on 1st July 2020, my Dad passed on the 7th December 2020 and we did a claim on the 10th of December 2020. Capitec is requiring a cancelation letter from another funeral policy company that we have informed we never canceled anything before joining them and secondly they claim that we had not finished the 6Months waiting period even though they have debited 6 Months installments from our account and their start date of the cover is 1st July 2020 (meaning by 1st December 2020 its 6 months) So they claim we signed on 27 June so by that virtue 6Months is not finished. We will fight you capitec, I promise

Capitec Bank rep**** and again told me they will escalate it, the issue it's simple. Capitec consultans explained that from the cover start date that's how we caltulate six months, the contract document state that start date cover 01 July 2020 and the premiums have been deducted is 6 x every month. Now Capitec Bank informs us that it's by the signature date that we ought to count the 6 months. If consultant had informed us accordingly, Premiums x 6 monthly had not been debited from our account and the contract document from Capitec Bank written by Capitec Bank did not state that start cover date is 01 July 2020 then we would listen to an extent, if now we listen then tomorrow the same capitec will tel us that the amount due to any beneficiary is different as stated on their Contract document written by them. The start cover date, monthly premium costs per beneciary and amount payable when beneficiary is deceased (on natural cause) are all written on the same place on document that Capitec Bank consultants provided to us.
