POOR SECURITY MEASURES ON BANK CARDS

Good day

I am not happy with the service received from the consultants I spoken to from your contact centre. The lady I spoke to was unprofessional and very rude, she did escalate my query , after a lot of arrogance which has left me disappointed and very unhappy about the service received.

There was a withdraw that took place on my account for R1500.00 24/03/2018 at 09:00AM My card was retained by the FNB ATM at Sasol Garage ,without the option of entering a pin or confirming the card is inserted.

I waited hoping the card will return , but no success. I went to the nearest branch to replace my card, where I informed the lady who assisted, Where R1500.000 was withdrawn as I left the ATM. The lady from the branch did not bother to escalate the matter or report the R1500.00 same time same day until I had to call in to confirm it this morning. I did not punch a pin, The card was in the ATM , but money left my account. R1500.00 is an inconvenience to my financial stability due to lack of correct security measure on Capitec Cards. The card is chip enable, and pin encoded. I will not pay any fees for the transaction and please reverse card replacement fee.

Please sort the matter out, for my financial wellbeing , It is Easter weekend , please insure the ATM cards have the correct security parameters to avoid incidents like these. As a first time Capitec client, It is a disappointing experience.
