Please train employees with modern practices and how to troubleshoot so that branches are always fully operational.
I go to cradlestone and again I can't do a coin deposit as there is something wrong with the machine or its full (failures happen about 70 to 80% of the times I go there, far too often and extremely frustrating). Why can't cradlestone do it manually (weigh the coins) if need be like all other branches that don't have the coin sorter machine.
So afterwards I go to Clearwater. Now I'm fine sorting my coins, 10s with 10s, 50s with 50s etc, but to be told that I have to count and put the exact amount in each bag as the bag says on the front is ludicrous, they are going to weigh it anyway, why must customers waste what little time they have available counting coins? Why do your employees enforce old prehistoric obsolete banking practices that have no relevance to modern methods? I've often gone to Capitec branches and just say I'll accept whatever the machine says the amount is. Why do they so often have to make things difficult?
A real shame as the exact reason I chose Capitec over their competitors (especially tyme bank) is because of the ease and convenience of quickly depositing plenty coins that would take ages to count. But now impractical and obsolete banking practices are inforced like other banks and you have just hiked the price of in branch deposits significantly (which I would be totally fine with if I had the same consistent level of valuable convenience I sometimes receive)
