Personal Loan Application

Good day<br> I went to the Vaal Mall branch on 14February to apply for a loan. The amount of time it took to be served is a story for another day. The consultant I saw was helpful. The thing that surprised me was that she had to confirm employment. According to the ads on tv,one just steps into a branch and can get credit within minutes. False advertising. Anyhow, the lady was shocked at the amount I wanted to apply for and told me she won't give me the credit. She promised to phone during the week to inform me of whether or not everything was fine. Because she didn't and I had informed her that this was urgent,I ended up getting finance at another institution. I am not sure whether she couldn't phone me because she forgot or because my amount was an 'undersell' for her. The only call I received from the Bank was from a call centre agent asking me how my experience was<br> Quite dissapointed in the service I received
