Pay my Loan in Full, Now i Paid to quick??

My Fiance had a loan with Capitec last year, and took another loan in Feb this year concolidate his debt. He sold his motorbike and now ants to buy a car. So with the money from the Bike he went and settled his loan, as they offered him a bigger amount in Feb, he thought let him settle the loan and then ask for a bigger amount in order to buy a car. After paying R30 000, he was told he settled the amount to quick and he can not get another loan. If he had known this, he wouldn't have paid the money, and instead he would have just taken that money to put down as a deposit on a car. Now his loan is paid, but he still has no transport. They should have advised him regarding this, that if you pay the full amount in advance, you can not apply for a new loan. This makes absolutely no sense!!! When he was informed off this after he made the payment, they should have reversed the payment and given him the money back as he was not aware of this. Perhaps going to an alternative bank would be his best option as Capitec is off no help and very sneaky
