Pathetic ***** service from Capitec

On Sunday the 12th the capitec atms in hilbrow were not working.Since there was an emergency used the FNB ATM since the banks work hand in hand even though there will be extra charges. Immediately after putting the pin my card was swallowed by the atm. While trying to contact the contact the call center money was coming out from the my account. How's is that? The card has been swallowed but someone manages to withdraw the money How's is that? After blocking the card the I went to the branch they told me they will get back to me in 5working days .

Yesterday I call in and the agent said to me that they cannot reimburse me for the unauthorized transaction claim.

They said its not their fault that I was a victim of *****! Capitec I'm so highly disappointed in you. I know it was fnb that swallowed my card. You must Liase with FNB and not me. They must pay you back my money and then you pay me my money. R3000 is not a joke. I didn't pick it up from the streets! My rate per hour is R20. 50 and for me to have earned that R3000 I had worked 146hours on my feet.

This is so *********! As a client when I keep my funds in your possession I expect them to be safe and secure. Clearly you are insured from ***** transactions but you don't care about your clients I want my money I trusted Capitec a lot now when l think of Capitec and FNB my heart beats fast. Now I don't know if l must transfer my funds to another bank.

How can a machine that swallowed card realise money there after and you say you can not do anything about it! I did not build in that ATM someone has to pay for it!!!!!!! l don't care if it's Capitec or FNB.

Can l aslo have the email address of your Banking ombudsman. My lawyer will be in touch if my case is not reviewed
