Paid Up Letter - 45 day wait!

I was very impressed with the way Capitec Bank has grown technology wise when I went to their branch to request a paid up letter regarding my credit card account.

I was rather disappointed with the response that I received. I was told that the paid up letter would take up to 45 working days. This is unheard of. One step forward and ten steps back. Honestly - 45 WORKING DAYS!!!!!

I have received paid up letters from banks and other creditors within minutes of the payment reflecting.

Now I have to wait 45 days when opening that account took me less than 30 minutes.

Capitec really needs to move with the times. I am so disappointed.
