overdraft on a savings that doesnt support it

good day capitec,

before i even start my review i would to ask a question does my saving account have an over draft? Because from what i can find is capitec doesn't give overdraft on savings accounts.

i went to montana branch to inquire and the lady kindly told me that savings accounts don't have an overdraft and the reason for my account being on the negative was caused by a system glitch causing my my account to go into 1.5k over draft without my consent.

i wanted to close my account and was told i can not close it and that i have to pay the the overdraft which you guys don't even facilitate.

I cant see how this is even possible if the account doesn't even support such an option.

please rectify the issue on your side so i can continue as a loyal customer and use my account again.
