Online Banking Nightmare
I was hijacked a while ago and started using a banking token instead of an OTP as my phone was taken. Unfortunately Capitec has the most un user friendly online banking as you are limited to what you can and can't do. Then you eventually start an online payment via ozwo or payjoy only to find they will send you an OTP. How would they like me to receive it maybe telepathicly or a vision I have no idea so after hours of searching and trying to get answers. I give up because each search tells me the same thing download the app. Funny don't I need a cellphone for that . So now I'm just really ****ed off.

03 Aug 2024, 16:16Capitec has been trying to contact me via telephone and each time, I give the a time when it's convenient to phone they don't. I receive the sms but no phone call. I can't do any online payments as I can't activate the app, so everything declines and then I'm still charged for that. This is really frustrating as they want me to go into a branch which isn't close and how would they like me to get there.
