Not supplying the correct information
More a month ago my husband tried to use his Capitec debit card to pay for for goods at PnP. He discovered that the card expired.

I went to the Meyerton branch. Also around the same period of time, I visited the branch and enquired about what to do to get another card. I was told that I, the main account holder must be present, and to bring in ID's.

Today my husband took a day off and we went to the Meyerton branch to get his new card, JUST to be told that we need proof of residence. NOTHING was mentioned to me upon my enquiry.

I am going in for a major operation and will not be able to walk for a month or so.

Not only has this caused us a huge inconvenience but a waste of time!

PLEASE educate your staff properly to avoid this in future with other clients.

The indian gentleman that I was told to go to and explain my situation , attitude was like.....this is the way and that's it. Not trying to help in any way or offer me a solution. We don't stay around the corner from the branch and sorry but I wasn't going to waste petrol and some more time on this.

If that is how it is fine...BUT I am the client, I pay your salary so least you could do was to try and help.
