No assistance when requested

Good day,

I went into the branch last week on the 26 th of May 2016 in order to find out why two amounts went off my bank account as it should have only been deducted on the 26th of June 2016. The lady who assisted me advised that she needs to contact the head office. They revert back while I was waiting there that they will do investigation and it will take 24 hours and money will be in my bank account.

Well well. I did not receive feedback. I then followed up yesterday with the call centre and provided the reference number. I was then only informed that it will take 14 working days in order to sort this as they need to get assistance from Absa bank.

The error is on their side as the amount went of incorrectly. This means that I am set back this month with an amount of R 2140.00 due to them not adhering to my request. This means I have to wait half a month for MY money to be paid back to Me. . . .Maybe it is time to move on to another bank whereby you can get propper assistance.

Not a happy customer at all. . . . :(

Best regards,
No feedback. . . Going onto 6 days. Guess the auto respond states 3 days. This is a whole lot of nonsense. Lack of client services means lots of loosing clients.
