Never ever think of opening an account with Capitec Bank

<p>I have an employee that have an account with Capitec Bank. He took out a loan from the bank so that he could pay a deposit and rent for a flat. He couldn't pay his repayments for August and he phoned to request a reduced repayment fee as he can not afford the repayments. This poor guy only receives R6000 a month and after deductions it is just over R5000. This month the bank took all of his salary for the repayments of two months. The result? This poor guy have no money to live from, he will be kicked out of the very same flat that he borrowed the money for and he doesn't have any money to get to work. This is absolutely unfair of the bank. As far as I know you can't deduct more than 25% of his salary for a loan. Looks like Capitec bank is just out to make their customers lives miserable... not better at all. Now my employee will soon be homeless, moneyless and jobless as well if he can't get to work. Nice one Capitec, keep it up!</p>
