NEVER BANK WITH CAPITEC BANK (ALL BRANCHES)

The experience i have had with Capitec Bank was actually one of a feeling of betrayal. In simple words, i have been lead up the path of excuses and withheld of information. The T&C's are not as accessible as we think. My experience is at first the advert say open an account for R 5.00, which is a lie its far more than that, the R 5.00 is an admin fee, then comes the surprise the actual charges per transaction is a total "theft" from their customers. The charges are R2.50 for an sms, average charge for deposits R 48.00 per transaction then your debit order charge per debit order R 28.00. the R 6.00 per bank statement twice at times yet I know i only did one statement request. Every month we discovered that between R53-R58 just vanish as we tried to reconcile, yet the discrepancy stays as said before, this was actually a scare to me not to find the amount, might be small, but calculate the number of accounts being as Capitec Bank advertise, 100 000 per day. The list goes on and on. People must be aware of the actual ******* you experience at Capitec Bank. Its a free country since 1994 and we as public can express our views. Capitec Bank will not see me again. The final warning to the public there was a R 25.00 amount you paid to open the account, that money is gone, meaning not available to you as the customer again, that belongs to the bank ********ly, this was a internal informer who confirmed this in its own words. Who it is, is of no concern to anyone but myself. I trust that us as public be aware of the amounts times the number of clients monthly. Rather obtain a fixed amount charged monthly and do not fall for this "cheap" charges, where there is smoke there is fire.
