My money was **********ly withdrawn and bank doesn't even bother to treat it as *****.
Sent instant cash, was drawn out in another province within a few hours. How can you trust this bank if they themselves are clearly being ****** from the inside.

19 Oct 2021, 08:25After speaking with this bank I am now, more than ever, convinced that my money is not safe with them.
When sending an instant cash you get a reference number which you need to input at your ATM and then you set a pin yourself.
The reference number and pin was used in another province and Capitec fails to realize that if someone knew that reference number, it had to only happen via their SMS facility, which is clearly breached.
I'm not upset that the money sent to someone else was ******, I'm upset that my bank, whom I have been loyal to for 10 years, fails to see the security breach in that and treats it as a non issue.
My money will now be better used elsewhere.
