Money Deducted to Keep My Account Open ***?!

I am very disgusted and angry at Capitec for deducting and keeping R25 from my account when my mother sent me R50 when I needed it the most!!!!!! When I went to the Capitec branch in PE Newton Park, the consultant explained to me that it was deducted in order to keep the account open and that the money that was used to open my account and keep it active is needed to keep it active.

I have never heard anything like this and I do not understand what has changed all of a sudden as I have always gotten my money in full. I thought that when I opened the bank account, I would not be liable to pay a lot of fees and that the account was a pay as you use so I don't know now all of a sudden why the **** did they keep a part of my money when I received a little money when I needed it the most! What's funny is that the deducted amount does not reflect on my charges and it's only the middle of the month so I really find this incredibly strange. I still don't understand any of this!

The constant deductions and charges that I have experienced at Capitec makes me really fed up and sick to the core!
