Missing interest not received

My fixed investment matured last month and the bank did not contact me prior to the maturity date . I went to the local Capitec branch to reinvest the funds which was fixed for a further year. My problem is that when the fixed investment initially matured , the funds was not released into my normal savings account and was still held in the fixed investment and therefore should have received some sort of interest from the bank of which no interest was received this month. Please can this be investigated and advise.
