Mercantile Bank - worst bank service in AFRICA

I am writing this review after months of the poorest services I have seen in my entire life!!

Mercantile Bank is the business bank/division of Capitec. However, where Capitec probably has the best service of any bank in SA, Mercantile bank has BY FAR the most useless service in Africa. And I KNOW. I worked in Nigeria and Libya.

I am working on contracts with overseas companies in the UK, Singapore, Hong Kong and the Netherlands. One company collates my payments and pays it over to Mercantile bank. This now the 3rd time in a row that they just do not do ANYTHING until I make a huge noise to tell them the must release my money. THEN they wake up and tell me "FUNDS NOT RELEASED YET" Then I must ask them numerous time until the money is released. THEM I must ASK them to send me the 2C form so that I can get my money. This process should take 1 day but it takes up to 3 weeks!!

They do not answer on emails - or takes days - and then only "funds not released". They do not tell me if there is a problem until i ASK them.
