28 Jan 2021, 18:37Dear Mr. Gwed,
We have noted your complaint listed on 26 January 2021 on the Hello Peter website.
Our records indicate that you entered into property transactions for which valuation fees were payable, and signed a debit order instruction to that effect on 6 January 2021, authorizing the bank to debit the valuation fees from your account accordingly. In light of the aforementioned, the bank was acting in terms of its contract with you and your statement that the bank cannot account for these debited amounts is thus incorrect. We encourage you to contact our customer service team should you have any further queries not only in respect of this query but any other matter pertaining to your loan.
Kind regards
The Mercantile Bank Team
