The worst decision of my life was banking with Capitec Bank.

My phone once got ****** whilst it was locked. I immediately went to the police station as it was taken around there. I soon after (less than two hours) went to Capitec to make a transfer and stop my account. When I got there they said they stopped my account as they noticed unfami**** transactions, I had about R89 000 in that account and when I got to the bank I was on R0.00, even the savings I opened within my account. Only for them to say I authorised those transactions even after they were the ones to stop it before I even arrived at the bank. I have heard that there’s staff working with ********s outside that make everything happen. This money was for school and till today I do not have my degree. Whatever was done was framed in such a way that makes it seem like I took the money out to a point the Ombudsman never helped. I have not recovered ever since. Please never bank with Capitec, there are better banks with low rates. Capitec is the worst FSP and I will never set foot there again.
