I was cloned at Capitec atm Silverton the atms don’t have cameras or security I’ve put my card in machine and pin waiting for option deposit or withdrawal instead I saw put in account number I tried to cancelled transaction machine jammed card didn’t come out I went to bank on 17/06 machine was still out of order When I went on my app 10k was decline 5k gone since 16 June I’ve been struggling with the bank to get my money . It shows I’ve made a purchase to some aluminium company Money pending from 16 June until 19 June Purchase was made 11:28 :36 I block my card 11:28:46 Call ***** line 11:30 Capitec still don’t see the need to refund me my 5k I have a witness the mall security cameras of the mall and still I’m struggling to get my money 👍🏻 to mall security who assisted me to quickly block my card and call *****-line. The merchant confirm transaction meaning the bank believe the ****mer over a valuable client I’ve open a case waiting for police to investigate The bank understands but still don’t see the need to refund me and deal with ****mers account to proof what did I purchase from them and where ?
