**** me on my bank loan
Good day I, Simon Ngwenya, hereby submit a formal complaint regarding my personal loan account with Capitec Bank. Since obtaining the loan, I have consistently made my monthly repayments of approximately R5 900 without default. To date, I have paid more than R100 000 towards this loan. However, I am shocked and concerned that I still allegedly owe approximately R110 000. I have repeatedly requested clarity and assistance from consultants regarding why the balance is not reducing reasonably. I was informed that insurance and interest charges are the reason. Despite requesting a review of my account and repayment structure, I have not received proper assistance or a satisfactory explanation. I further confirm that I have a recording of the consultant who assisted me when the loan was approved, which may be relevant regarding the explanation and disclosure of the loan terms and costs. I therefore formally request: A complete statement of account from the start of the loan; A full breakdown of all interest, insurance premiums, service fees, and other charges; A copy of the original signed loan agreement; An amortisation/payment allocation schedule; A formal review of the loan and repayment calculations; Written reasons explaining why the loan balance remains excessively high despite substantial repayments already made. Please treat this matter urgently. Failing a satisfactory response, I reserve my rights to escalate this matter to the National Credit Regulator, National Financial Ombud Scheme, and any other relevant consumer protection authority. Kind regards Simon Ngwenya
