Loss of Salary

On the 13th of April 2017 I was at St Annes hospital in Pietermaritzburg after I had an operation. It was about 18h50 when I got a phone call from a certain woman and this woman told me that I have won a R200 Vodacom airtime. This lady told me that they have tried several times to load the airtime but it was not going through. Then the lady said that I should end the call and switch of my phone for a while so that they should load the airtime. After speaking to this woman, I fell asleep since I had taken some medication to calm down the pain of my operation.
On the next day, when I woke up in the morning the phone that uses Vodacom network which I used to speak to the lady the previous day kept on saying no network. Since I have two cellphones, I realized that my second phone was working. Then I decided to use it to make a phone call and called Vodacom customer care to try to find out why the other phone has lost the network. At Vodacom customer care, they told me that I did a sim swap in the evening at about 18h55 on 13 April 2017. I was shocked, because I did not know about any sim swaps. Then I told them that I was at the hospital and did not do any sim swap. They told me to do another sim swap so that I could get my number back.
When my husband come to visit me in the morning at about 10h00 on 14 April 2017, I asked him to withdraw a certain amount of money from my account. When he got to Capitec bank to withdraw some money, he got a reply message saying there were no enough funds available. My account had a balance of R0.00. Actually, my salary was paid on 13 April 2017 and on the following day 14 April 2017 there was no money in my account. All my salary was gone, just like that.
I had to try to get a pass out from the hospital even though I was still in pain, just to try to find out from Capitec bank what the matter was. When I spoke to the consultant at Capitec bank in Longmarket Street in Pietermaritzburg, I was told that there was nothing that they could do since I was the one who was busy making money transfers and buying Vodacom airtimes. The consultant told me that they could not reverse the transitions, which were done at night on 13 April 2017.The consultant told me to go report the issue at the police station since there was nothing that they could do to help me get my money back.
I went to Loop street police station in Pietermaritzburg to report the issue. Police officers were not keen to help write a statement. They were like “ ohh yaaah, it Capitec and Vodacom case again”. Then one of them said that there are many cases of money loss that involve Vodacom and Capitec that had been reported to them. This police officer also said that he does not think that these cases will be attended since there is a number of them. However, he never told me the reason why these cases will not be attended. Nevertheless, I wrote a statement and I then went back to the hospital since I was still in pain due to an operation.
I desperately need help to resolve this issue of losing my salary at Capitec bank.
