Long Overdue Debt Ruining my life

Good Day,

I have long overdue credit with Capitec that was handed over to Nimble after I lost my job during Covid.

I am still unemployed and Nimble advised that any little payments that I can make will help reduce the debt, I have since bound myself to repayments that did nothing towards the debt. I've paid 150 every month for almost 2 years to realise that my debt has just been going up and up

What Nimble failed to disclose was that I need to pay more than the interest. How does one pay more when unemployed? At what point does Capitec make use of the insurance in the contract when we take our the debt? How do you expect me to pay thousands of rands without a job??? You have literally double the debt that I took in 2020 instead of freezing the interest as I requested.

I have reached out to Capitec directly to clear this debt directly with Capitec, and to request a freeze on the interest since I am unemployed. They are not even willing to help all I get is email responses saying they handed over the debt therefore I must reach out to Nimble. Not willing to help at all.

I really am struggling to even get that 150 to make repayments, I have tried to get this arrangement in place with Nimble and they have advised that they cannot assist in this regard.

This bank is the worst! I took out a loan that stated I pay insurance incase I lose my job or die but 4 years later I can't get a job or even rent a place to stay because I owe Capitec. Yet you expect one to pay!!!!
