Loan Settlement

<p>I want to settle my loan with capitec but the settlement fee is higher than the outstanding balance. This does not make sense as I've been making adhoc payments every month to settle the loan faster. Surely there should be a re-calculation of the interest therefore the settlement should be lower!!</p> <p> </p> <p>According to the guy that assisted me in the branch, he said that there is a settlement fee which is added on. What the hell is that for?? Here I am trying to keep a good credit score, paying on time and paying extra every month, and Capitec just adds on fees. Capitec needs to realise that we are going through some tough times in South Africa, so they shouldn't be making it harder for people to settle debt by adding on more fees!!!</p> <p> </p> <p>I wouldn't recomend anyone taking a loan from capitec, they are robbing people. There are a few reviews on here that have the exact same issue as me.</p>
